Title: Anybody polished their Hyroad to make it more like the Hyroad pearl?
Post by: ryguy119 on June 16, 2016, 11:14:20 AM
I am really surprised how much my Hyroad hooks. There are certain conditions I bowl on where the Hyroad out hooks my Iq Tour. I loved my Hyroad Pearl b4 the lanes took a huge chunk out it. I was wondering if I throw a ton of polish on my Hyroad if I can get it to react like the pearl version did. Trying to avoid buying the Hyroad pearl but not sure if that is possible. I guess I am asking if anybody has polished their Hyroad and if so did it act more like the pearl version. Thank you.

The HyRoad and HyRoad Pearl both came at 1500 polished box surface I believe

This makes no sense. "4000 with tons of polish"? Youre creating a over/under nightmare. Ball will go longer and react more violently to friction if it even shapes at all.

I agree with Northface, I'd look at getting a Ride/Joy Ride or Roto Grip Hustle

Yeah the Hy-Road won't react the same as a Hy-Road Pearl. Better off making the investment especially since you already liked the one you originally had.

the tour solid is a low flaring ball with a lazy core.  the hy-road is about asome perfect of an even reaction u can get.  my road flares as much as any assym I have, thing is a killer. I probably have 4 resurfaces on it...just seems to get better and better with age.
