If so, how did they turn out for you? I am considering one, but want to hear both pros & cons from people who have bought/received them. Were you disappointed or happy? Thanks.

They are commonly used by staffers on the tour not a thing wrong with them.
-
X-Blems are not used on tour. Pro-pins and Pro cg's are, but I have never seen a X-Blem on tour.
I have drilled many for people and have heard mixed reviews. Just remeber, there is a reason the ball is a blem. Could be color which would not effect ball reaction, some are mismarked. Hope this helps.

Me: "These lanes are tight. I have 2 boards!"
My buddy with front 8: "Me too!"
Me: "Yeah, but yours both have arrows on them, and an arrow in between!"
-
Okay, color=no problem. Mismarked= depends on how it's mismarked. MB or CG? Can be weighed & found by the driller right? Can the pin be mismarked? I don't think so, but I'm not an expert. So, so far, no real problems. If it's a Storm pro cg it would state it on the box right? I'm talking about a Storm being sold as an X-blem, not pro-cg or pro-pin.

I have an x-blem overseas ball. The World Domination. Very good ball for when the lanes get toasty or are going through transition. It is a color blem ball. It is exactly the same as first releases except color which makes no difference to me because I am color blind.

Can also be a high or low top weight ball.My X-blem Strike Cell had 5.4 oz top weight. I had a X-blem X-Factor Turning Point that had 1.4 oz
-
I don't mind some of the lower top weights its the higher ones I worry about..
-
I bought and X-Blem Tropical Storm ( blem due to color, whick made it look better to me than what it should be).
Ball reacted just like the other Tropical I was replacing.

I bought 2 overseas Special Agnt 007's from Allstarbowling a while back. I still have one undrilled, both balls were marked x-blem. The blemish was a tiny little nick on the ball from the factory, everything else was the same as a first run ball.
I'd rather have blems anyways they're cheaper and perfectly fine, as long as you don't get one with a super high top weight. The high top weights make it difficult if you want a certain layout on that ball.

Okay, this was what I was looking for. People who've used them & had no issues. No real problems except for too much top weight so I'll keep an eye on that. Thanks for everyone who's posted so far!!

Contrary to Stormkid84's belief, they're on tour too, along with the pro-pins/cg's too.

All i use are Xblems or xcomps. Never had a ball i couldnt drill.
