Anyone still throwing the Punch Out?
« on: September 09, 2019, 11:55:20 PM »
I bought the Punch Out right before it was discontinued. As a new bowler at the time this was my very first ball I had drilled for myself. I’m just curious if this ball is still in your bag as part of your arsenal. My Punch Out is still is and so far in league it has been a 3rd game superstar. After 4 years it still has that wicked backend.

Nobody seems to be exited for any of the Storm balls in the “Hot” line anymore. Are there any Storm/Rotor Grip balls that come close to the Punch Out? Anyone looking for a Storm/Rotor Grip ball in this price range, I recommend finding a used Punch Out somewhere.

Having also bought one on closeout I love mine on transitioning house. Needs deoiling and resurfacing though

Hyroad pearl is probably closest in current lineup but a little stronger, current hot line isn’t remotely similar to the r2s ones

Absolutely.  This ball excels at getting down the lane.  R2S pearl cover -- what's not to like.
When you need to get in and use the friction, this ball is a great choice.

Just saw a Punch Out on EBay. Whoever needs a good dry/medium ball need to snatch this ball up with the quickness. The backend of this ball is wicked.
