Title: Arsenal
Post by: purduepaul on December 06, 2004, 12:15:19 PM
I've been seeing what companies I have been liking for a while, however I just keep coming back to my storm equipment.

Currently I have an original x-factor, x-factor reloaded, and a flash point
I would like to add two balls but I also am facing long patterns with heavier oil in the back so I do need stronger balls (no hot rods ect.)

Thanks paul

X Factor Ace is pretty nice ball, this ball hooks!  For me, probably the most of any Storm ball.  Atomic Charge with it's dull box surface is pretty nice too.  Maybe not as much as the Reloaded, but more back end.

You might try a Triple Extreme.  Earlier than the X Factor, sharper break point than a Reloaded, more hook than Atomic Charge, little less than Ace.

For the conditions you want the ball for, I would suggest the Extreme. I have one that is drilled with PIN under ring finger and The RAD in the strong position and this ball has a sharp break point and great back-end hitting power.

You are smart to return to Storm balls. I too returned to Storm balls after trying Lane 1 for a little over a year and seeing they aren't as good as advertised plus seeing my bowling average, strike percentage, and etc. go way down.
