I currently throw the Phaze 2 (50x4.5x35) in league as a benchmark ball. My ball in later games would be the Hyroad X (75x4x30).  I won a Track Paradox Red (60x4x30) that is my only asymm ball.  It isn't strong enough in heavy oil for me to throw my regular speed/hand though so i haven't used it much.  I have a short pin Magnitude 055 but i only throw that on beat up wood lanes so far.  I don't have any pin down balls either.

I won 2 balls in a raffle Saturday and I'm leaning toward the Physix and IQ Tour Emerald. Would these be too close to what i already have? Would a pin down asymm be good for heavy oil when I go to State and Nationals in the next few weeks?

Stats: Avg 190-200 between 3 houses, 15-16 mph, matched speed/revs, high track, 55 degrees rotation, 10 degrees tilt (but working to increase it some)

Any helpful advise if there would be better balls to choose or what key layouts/covers i'm missing to be prepared for 6+ game tourneys? I have 2 purple hammers that i've thought of using a heavy/long patterns if need be, but i do have 2 free balls coming my way asap though.

Honestly if it were me; I would look at something lower end like a Hustle HSB or a Match Up.  That way, you would have everything covered from heavier oil down to lighter oil.

This would get you through a multitude of conditions and allow you to be successful when you encounter those tournaments consisting of 6 or more games.
