Arsenal Needs Update
« on: December 13, 2006, 10:44:43 AM »
Hey guys, I know I just asked, but I've polished the coverstock on my X Factor, and now it carries much better, but its a lot tamer, so I need to rework my arsenal now that it actually fits into it:

Speed: slow 13-14 mph (been working on getting it up some)
Revs: ~200 rpm
Axis: most comfortable at ~30 degrees

Okay, so now that my X Factor is tamed up, it fits into my medium oil spot really well, but I still like what I've seen out of the Spit Fire, so I was wondering if there was a way to still incorporate it into my lineup; I was thinking something like:

Heavy: Double Agent
Med-Heavy: Special Agent/Agent/Spit Fire
Medium: X Factor
Med-Light: Thunderstruck Pearl
Light: Jolt Pearl

What do you guys think?

T-Pearl might be to strong for medium light. Also from the Spit Fires Ive rolled and seen this ball is perfect on medium. I would say try an Agent or if you need something sanded then a Special agent at 4000 grit for the Medium Heavy.

If you would like a Solid that is an all around versatile ball then give the Thunderstruck Solid a chance in the medium heavy spot. As for medium light, I would probably say the Jolt Pearl and then just pick up a Tropical for the light stuff.

You might want to be able to throw every ball, but sometimes its best to have a ball in the bag that you might just need on special occasions.

As you already have the Spit Fire, I would just use that amongst your X-Factor and just use which ever gives you the better look. In my opinion the X-Factor will have more backend and the Spit Fire will be more rolly.
