Astro Physics and Nuclear Cell
« on: February 03, 2021, 11:10:14 AM »
I was wondering if its worth it to carry the Astro and the Nuke in the same bag. Balls are really similar and I hate to waste space in my bag. Also have the Omega Crux at box finish. 3 pearl Asyms seems a bit much to me. Looking for advice from anybody who has both the Astro and Nuke and if there really is a need for both. Both balls at 1500 polish as well. Really don't want to mess with the surfaces since I have the Omega at 3k abralon. Also have the Wreck Em as my symmetric pearl.  Great skid snap ball for the dryer stuff. Have some solid offers for the Nuke and the Astro. Just want to make sure I keep the right one if I do decide to sell 1 of them. Thanks everybody. Love hearing your opinions.

Nuclear Cell and Astro should be good compliments. Nuclear is stronger core and cover while the Astro is a step down with r2s pearl

Thanks SV,
Might just keep both of them. Just weird to have 3 asym pearls in 1 bag. I do love the R2S on the Astro. Wreckem is getting long in the teeth. Maybe I'll move that one.

I wouldn't factor the Omega Crux into the equation. That's such a different motion and roll than the other two that it fills a different role entirely regardless of it's pearl coverstock designation.

Agreed about the Omega Crux. Acts like a solid to me. Love it so far.

Think I'll try Omega at box, Nuke at 2k polish and the Astro 4k polish. That should create some differences in ball motion. Idol Pro is still my go to benchmark ball. Lets me know which way to go if need be. Sure Lock hook monster and the trusty and underrated Ride as my burn ball. Blue Hammer for spares and we should be set.
