ATOMIC CHARGE AND BANSHEE
« on: November 11, 2004, 07:06:43 AM »
THESE BALLS HIT LIKE TANKS. THE ATOMIC CHARGE READS THE MIDLANE VERY WELL AND ROLLS VERY GOOD THREW THE PINS KEEPING THEM VERY LOW TO THE DECK. THE BANSHEE IS ONE OF THE BEST SKID SNAP BALLS IN A LONG TIME THIS BALLS SENDS WOOD ALL OVER THE PLACE SOMETIMES INTO THE NEXT LANE.

I have had mine now for about 2 weeks and can hnestly say they are already two of my favorite balls. They complement each other very well and fit into my arsenal easily as well.
The atomic is drilled with a 4 1/2" pin down under fingers with extra hole at 5" from center of grip through CG. Box Surface. Have used it on league and tournament conditions and the ball plays the lane from any part and easily makes the midlane read better than alot of my stuff. Super Controllable and doesnt quit and carries well.

My Banshee is drilled with a 5" pin up no hole and is easily one of the best skid/snap balls for the money I have ever seen. The scent is a touch strong but other than that its fantastic. Hits very hard, very readable snap and nice and clean through the front.

The pro shops already have them.

I bought my Eraser Banshee the other day.

The Atomic Charge was sitting net to it, but I needed a light oil ball so I went with that.

Had the Banshee drilled with the pin over the bridge and CG in the palm. Forget what the specs are as I don't have the box on me.

But regardless it's a very good ball. Wouldn't expect anything less from Storm. I bowled on horrendous lane conditions so it's not really a good way to comment on the ball. Carrydown to the pin deck, the heads completely gone. Was able to carve out a small track area with my Triple X Factor before I threw this one.

As bad as the lanes were, what I will say is this. It clears the heads extremely well. If one didn't know better they would've thought it was fresh oil. Continues through the midlane straightening out slightly and then just jumps on the backend. Reacts very well off the dry. I'm expecting better lane conditions when I bowl Sunday night to practice so it will give me a better idea of what to expect out of the ball. But I do like what I see initially.

Also, I don't think the Pina Colada scent is that bad.
