Atomic Charge...First Impressions...
« on: January 07, 2005, 04:49:36 PM »
I got to drill up my atomic charge today, and I can tell you I was more than pleasantly surprised. This is the basic (and very rough) impression of how I drilled it...

--o-o----
--------P
-----G--W
---------
---O-----

P = Pin
G = Center of Gravity
W = Weight Hole

...I basically drilled it for a somewhat early, smooth, very controllable reaction; a benchmark ball. I was almost trying to create a very similar reaction to my old Trauma ER, which has expired at this point, and that is truely what I got. I threw this ball on a house shot with dried up side boards and a little bit of carrydown, and it handles it with no problem, just always seemed to be able to make it to the pocket, and it crushed the pins...I can't give this ball a full on reviews yet, though just by tonight I give this ball an A...I can't wait till tomorrow and try the complete opposite reaction of the banshee...
