Title: Bad omen
Post by: daves123 on January 26, 2018, 11:48:09 PM
I've been trying different brands of balls the past year and out of the 8 balls 2 were storm and 1 roto grip. OG hy-road  iq tour solid and hustle ink.  Of the three the iq was the worst of the bunch . I know BLASPHEMY!  Well I came home tonight after practicing and looked up on the bookshelf where the balls on the bench live and to my surprise the iq has a crack over half the way around the ball. The ball was bought in march of 17 and was cared for extremely well. Im not sure if the ball is just poed for being benched or just desuccusted by being owned by a inadequate bowler. Ether way I'm taking it as a bad omen with the iq. If they gave me a new one I don't think I would even drill it.

Take it to the place you got it and see if they will warranty it. If so, you have a replacement coming.

Many times, the shop will be able to get you something else to replace it.

Sounds like your lucky day if you didnt like it, you bought in last year it is under warranty and you should get a credit for cost of the ball which you can likely use on another ball.

Ehh if you utilize them properly, they make you enough money in brackets, tournaments, etc that they are well worth the investment. Also never had one crack yet in many years and I store them in Vise 3 ball totes, in my garage, year round in Ohio.
