Ball between Fast and Furious?
« on: September 03, 2009, 04:55:34 AM »
just punched up both and used them last night...

loved both but about 15 board difference between them..

Is there something in the Storm line up that fits in between  there?

Maybe polish the Furious?

Hy-Road would work nicely. It would fit right between and give you a different look.

Wow!  15 boards?  What layout(s) do the have?  That seems like a monster difference.  I see about 5-7 boards with the two of them at 5x3 (pin up).

I would agree with the Hy-Road as well but you may also want to look at the Nomad Solid.  IMO that is the best benchmark ball in the current Storm/RG catalog and would be a nice fit between the Fast and Furious.

I agree, the Hy-Road should fit nicely.

Some contribution..."I agree"...no doubt this brilliant contribution helped the OP immensely.  It's a damn good thing you're here to help out these poor schmucks. Lord knows what they would do without your brilliant insights.  Putz.

Are you BR's newest forum cop oh no thats right you just threaten to call the cops my bad.    And imo Hyroad would be to close to the Furious if not stronger.  I would suggest another furious but polished, this will allow you more play down lane.

i would have to agree with mmcfarland300 there is no way the hyroad fits between these two balls the hyroad is stronger than the furious. the only thing i can really suggest is get another furious and polish the hell out of it

Either a Nomad Solid or a polished Furious with a lengthier drilling. I think the Hy-Road is a little too aggressive for what you want.

I'd second a polished Furious, and a drilling that falls in between your current balls (if there is any difference?).

Street Rod Solid with it's weaker coverstock might do the trick.

I agree with a polished , length drilled Furious. Another thought would be a polished Street Rod solid. They are still readily available and are weaker than the Furious but still use the same core so will give you a similar reaction shape. Just less of it.
