Without knowing your actual pap, I can only generalize about what properties this drilling has.

In most cases, the pin below the fingers is intended to get the ball out of a skid and into a roll a bit earlier.

The placement of the RAD on the positive side of the thumb lends itsself to a stronger ball reaction than if it was on the negative side of the thumbhole.

It looks like the RAD is not quite a 90 degree, but close.  A true 90 degree would tend to give you a strong ball reaction.  The weighthole isn't too far over, so I tend to believe it might be on, or close to, the VAL.  It's placement on this ball would increase finger weight slightly, remove excess sideweight, and make a minor influence on the strength of the RAD.

Pin being under the ring finger would get it closer to my pap than most of my other stuff, and in fact, would almost be maxed out for me as I have a pap closer to my grip than a lot of others.

An overall, general assumrtion for this ball, for ME, would be a ball for oilier conditions, to get into a roll earlier than my other stuff and still give me a pretty strong read in the midlane and backends with a good, hard driving backend.

Thanks, it does get into a roll earlier than my inferno and is less snappy. I was just wondering because i picked this ball up used and only moved the thumb hole.

Juggernaut pretty much nailed it on the head as far as general reaction.  Like he said, we can't tell you anything for sure unless we know your PAP.

Also, why would you care what the ball is drilled for if you already have it an used it?  Seeing the reaction on the lanes is more valuable than anything people on a forum can tell you.

Well i was just wondering just to know wut it was drilled for. That way i know wut my style made that ball do. Also, i would like to know which one would be the best to be polished or to be brought up to 4000. I also have a pba inferno, and i just wanted to know which one would be better.

walter56, we don't know how it was drilled. It was drilled according to your friend's (if it was your friend's) PAP, so it won't do for you what it did for him unless your PAP is the same.

Actually, i bought it off ebay. Do you think if i polish it at 600 with some factory finish, or magic shine. That will give me a bit more length but still have the midlane read or will it be all backend and clean through the midlanes.

You probably would get more length with polish and because it's still at 600 underneath, you won't lose alot of midlane read.  What might happen is it might not work on carrydown and oil in general as well as it used to.  I'd try taking the surface to 1000 or 2000 abralon first and if you still don't get the length you're looking for, take it back down to 500 and polish it.  Pin down and CG kicked out like that is going to get the ball into an earlier roll and be more controlled at the breakpoint.  Although the comments about the PAP are also correct, but if it rolls OK for you then it's probably pretty close.

Ok, i will try and bring it up to like 2000. I am bringing all my balls for resurfaces now that the summer league is over and i will tell my driller to bring it up to 2000.

really the thumb offset and pitches could affect the reaction?
