I have a Resurgance that I want to fit just under my Passion. Right now the Resurgance is 1000 abralon and the Passion is at 500 abralon. Woud you take the Resurgance to 2000 abralon or hit it with lets say some Storm step 1?

I'd recommend going to 2000 polished or 4000(maybe polish even on that).  The Resurgence being a pretty strong ball I think you'll need to tone it down quite a bit with one of those surfaces to get the ball a bit weaker than the Passion.
