Cleaning Vertigo
« on: May 09, 2005, 01:19:53 PM »
Wanted to know what would be the most effective thing to clean the vertigo with.  Ball has the original out of the box finish.  I have a super charge and use clean n dull with great success.  Would clean n dull work just as well on the vertigo.   Thanks

I used Track's Clean N Dull on all my equipment. CND is a green gel that had a strange smell but damn it does wounders. You don't need to use must and before u know it every belt mark, dirt and grime is gone!! In the house that i am in if u throw it in the gutter u get white paint on the ball CND will take the paint off awsome product. Beware thou i bought 2 bottles off of bowling.com and it was like bright green with a real pine smell to it and did not do the Job as well as my other bottle from my local pro shop.

I use Simple Green/Water for day to day cleaning and Clean N Dull  every week on mine and my wife's balls. I haven't found anything better to get the oil out.

For belt marks, any other pesky 'junk' I mixed up my own formula of Lane cleaner and water. Hit it after with alcohol to dry up anything left over, works great for me.
