No way. Eraser Banshee is MUCH tamer than the II, which is a flippy ball. Should be much smoother, I guess even better to control than a BVP Rampage on similar conditions.
Another ball which gets much use by medium and high rev players around here is the Hot Rod Pro Stock Pearl for light conditions and broken-down lanes. Could be an option, too. Should be a touch weaker/for a bit less oil than the Eraser Banshee.
From what I have heard and seen, the new Tropical Storms should be considered, too, but they seem to be as aggressive as the Pearl Reactive Power Grooved from Brunswick - maybe too much for dry conditions, or you just need a smooth control drilling.
If you want to be versatile, I'd also suggest the Eraser Banshee.
