Storm says the Hybrid will do well in dry lanes, I think your thought of a Big Hit is on track (no pun intended)

my 2 cents are up

It would depend on how dry the backend are and how you deliver the ball.  I shot an 802 with a reactive flame so I know that the weaker stuff with less advanced cores will hit if you can match up correctly.

My ball driller punched one for our dry wood house... He has a lot of hand... drilled his 60 degrees... polished to 2000. It hooked off the lane on a 36 ft THS. You may need to drill the guts out of it.

Some details about your style/specs would help people make a recommendation.

Barbed wire might work, problem there is finding one. discontinued, and finding one with the pin/tw might be a bear. I'd still say the Big Hit.

My 2 cents are up.

Barbed Wire can work with the right drilling and surface preparation, but if the combination is toasted heads with strong back ends, you may want to investigate the Big Hit series of balls...
