« on: May 07, 2007, 01:46:20 PM »
i love my fired up and i wanna get a ball with an agressive skid flip reaction. i want the ball to be above my smashtime pearl and fired up. I was thinking of the t road pearl or a domination any other balls worth lookin at ? anyone know any info or have any pics of the sure fire

Try the Pearl Horizon from Roto Grip.  It's VERY close.

Why would you want something that is like the fired up? The spitfire is a tad earlier than the fired up. I'd say if you are wanting something as long as the fired up with more backend, the paradigm might be the ball.

IMO the Fired Up is unique in its length and angularity.

Personally I have a T Road pearl doing that job now but it is significantly earlier reacting and smoother at the break point. I love it just the same, but the fired up is much longer/stronger. Although I haven't thrown the Spitfire I have it on good authority from a wide range of sources that it is quite different from the Fired Up.

The fired up is my go to ball, but when I wanted something with more length my Domination works perfect.  As a note however, I have not tried anything with the new coverstock.

I have seen the SpitFire and though it was a step up from the Fired up in reaction to MY eyes.  I do not know how to compare to the Troad pearl or Domination as I have not seen those!  Very strong I felt.

The domination is the ultimate skid flip ball. The T-road is also a great ball but i would consider it a step down from the fired up not a step up. I also have a shift that is drilled skid flip and i love it. If you want something newer then the shift is a great choice but I would go with the domination.
