Flash Point, Nice.... I forgot!
« on: March 06, 2005, 03:43:09 PM »
I had seen this thing on the left with the pin down and used it as such.

It worked great and then it didn't work.  I forgot about it!

Then today I saw one of our real nice throwers a flingin away with it!

BOy it looked great.  He had the pin up oh an 1 1/2 above ring and cg stacked, no weight hole.  This thing had length but still good midnlane and then despite the really high pin arc very hard to the pocket!

He went on a great strike tear and this ball was impressive.

I'm surprised this ball is not being used on tour because as I watched this ball I thought I was seeing an Inferno with a little later rev.  A lot of midlane and surprisingly early read of the oil pattern(it seemed like inferno) to be hooking BEFORE the end of the pattern!

This is the exact reaction I get out of mine, pin 5 inches from pap, above ring, cg in grip center, no weight hole. The problem I run into is that it is not quite as versatile as some other equipment out there, it seems to have one good lane condition, medium oil with fresh backends. Carrydown and lighter oil make this ball a bad choice.
