Gravity Shift vs. Special Agent
« on: February 25, 2008, 11:27:45 AM »
I am looking for something that can handle medium-heavy to heavy oil.  I have been contemplating the Special Agent off and on for a while and right when I was gonna grab one, I started hearing about the Gravity Shift.

I am prefer a smooth, continuous, controllable arc.  I figure I'm a tweener or a light-cranker with a ball speed around 16 and medium revs.

So how do these two differ?

Special Agent = very low RG symmetrical solid
Gravity Shift = low RG asymmetrical pearl

The Special is much smoother and can probably handle higher volumes of oil than the Gravity Shift.  When the lanes start to dry a little, the Special may roll too early and not carry as well, but on fresher oil it is very strong.

i agree also, the special is alot smoother but it can be tough to fight with the back end reaction, i love the ball i love my gravity shift more though it fits my style a little bit better but if you want more of an arc that is definately the way to go i love it... on a house shot with med-heavy (depending on length) it seems for me to be too much i like it more for the longer patterns when it hits the dry it goes straight left for me hope it helps... the gravity can be drilled for control mines not i used layout number 2 on mine.
