Storm Freedom replacement?
« on: April 27, 2004, 02:00:12 PM »
One of my fav's was the Storm Freedom (supposedly it was the same as the USA Bowling) with what I've gathered was an Accutread cover and the Eraser Core/Block. Is there anything in the current line-up, or future offerings anyone knows of, that may be a good replacement. Thanks.

Hmm, the closest I could think of would be the Hot Wire.  Solid Accu-Tread, and the core isn't all that different, I don't think.  Possibly the Deuce too, but it would have more in the midlane.

Hammy...thanks...I'll take a look into those. Of course I do like Storm/Roto, but would be open minded to anything else....except Lane 1 do to my dealings with Ritchie.

Thanks StormLefty, another consideration to add with Luke's. With having to drop a pound in weight to relieve the tendonitis in the elbow, and my son "stealing" all my equipment, I am looking to set up the "new" arsenal. Also having to bowl in a new house next year one night, it will be my 1st season in an all synthetic house in years.

I plan on the following so far:
Colossus, SonicX (pearl), and Silver Streak Pearl

Looking to fill the void of the Freedom, and add an oiler.

Thanks for the input.
