« on: December 09, 2007, 05:55:41 AM »
Hey every one i have specail agent, spit fire and a jolt pearl ready to be drilled i feel there is it much gap between the specail agent and the spit fire. Just curious what i should order, i was thinking a sure fire, or a T road solid. Any sugestions would be great =) thanks guys.

Sure Fire.  The Special is a very versatile ball that can fill up a big hole at the top of your arsenal.  The T-Road solid is too close.  The sure fire with a semi-aggressive layout will be perfect for that absence.

T-road pearl would be a great ball also. i believe the cover is the same as the special. i have both, and i like the transition between the t-road and the special. plus the t-road is very versatile.

Maybe same cover, but the Special Agent is not a pearl.

SureFire or maybe a ThunderStruck Solid.

That is true. What i was meaning to say is that they are both the R2S cover but the T-road is pearl, and the Agent is not. Sorry for any confusion. Like i said, i have both, and my t-road pearl is below my special agent. My current tournament aresnal is Special Agent, T-Road Pearl, Thunderstruck Pearl, Jolt Pearl. I also carry a tracked out Domination, but never really throw it.

To me it sounds like you would want an original Agent in that slot.  Depending on the drilling you pick it should fit inbetween very nicely.  If you find yourself wanting a little more grip, just scuff up the surface a bit.

I had a Spit Fire and I have a Special Agent and I know what you are talking about with that gap...  Honestly, I don't know...  I found the Spit Fire to be too similar to my Thunderstruck (didn't put the right layout on the Spit Fire) in the types of conditions it would handle but it just got to the pocket in a different shape.

I am not sure what I would do there.  If it were me I am trying to think...  Maybe I would try a Shift (because of the pearl particle) depending on how I could lay it out and go with the other two.  Maybe I would put their "tournament shot" drilling on it?  I am also thinking polished T-Road Solid but I don't know if that is the right move either.

I was looking for something between a Special Agent and Spit Fire at the beginning of the season. I drilled an Agent and for me it fits perfectly between them. If you want to go with an R2S cover instead I would think a Sure Fire or Shift could work. I'd also ask your pro shop what they think would be a good fit based on your game.
