Has anybody ever put a polish on this ball? How did it
affect it? Was it worth it doing? My deuce has been resurfaced
and had some oil sucked out of it. Now it dosn't seem to work as well
that is why I have thought about putting a polish on this ball
to see what would happen with. Any suggestions would help a lot. thanks

Mine is polished to 600 grit. Puts a nice back end to it with out it being jumpy.

When I first got mine, we made sure to get one that was finished matte - when they first came out, some were matte, some polished.

after using it a little while, I took it up probably to around 1500, then took it back down with a green scotchbrite - lightly.

Worked great.

Mine seems to benefit by periods of resting. Don't know why, but if I use it too much, it seems to lose it's reaction. If I only use it once in a while, it works great...

Try the new product from Columbia called CPR it will get some of the oil out of the ball and may bring the life back to it..It only takes and hour.....
