Title: Black Widow Pearl replacement
Post by: Dabalos on April 23, 2008, 12:51:00 AM: I am looking to replace my black widow pearl with a storm ball. Any suggestions on what ball is closest in terms of reaction to the BWP?

Post by: x1a4 on April 23, 2008, 09:08:38 AM: For Asym a Domination would be more similar to the BWP the a Gravity shift, the gravity reads the mid some where the domination pretty much ignores it. personally I would go with the t-road pearl.

I found that the T-road I had more recovery and forgiveness on THS. My pro shop guy has almost the exact same specs as me and he owns the BWP and the bite so I get to try out equip I would not normally buy. Also I noticed with his widows is that after a while they started to mellow out (the bite especially). I have a ton of games on the T-road and all I ever had to do is just repolish it.

My dad just got a BW Solid and BW Pearl. The pearl was used, so I can't really speak for it. But the Solid after about 15 games has mellowed out tremendously in the backend. It's a great ball still, just much different than throw #1.
