Black widow to Dimension???
« on: February 13, 2009, 09:01:30 AM »
Iv'e been an avid fan of storm's products for some time now, and everything i own is storm except for my black widow that i got from a friends recomendation.  I loved the black widow and worked great for me but it just isnt the same any more.  Its been cleaned and resufaced and this helped for a little while but it just isnt the same.  After some research i decided to order a dimension.  My question is if anyone has one that would know if it will be a good transition for me to the dimension.  My other ball right now is a T-road pearl and works great for me when the conditions are right but if there is too much oil out there the widow just isnt cutting it any more.  I just seem to have much better luck with storm's balls and products.

I don't have it, but my opinion is that the Dimension will be more ball than your Black Widow, and quite a bit more ball than your T-Road Pearl.  It sounds like you're going to keep your Black Widow, which I think is good because a Dimension and T-Road Pearl leaves too much of a gap.  Good luck with it

The BWS is very clean through the front and more angular. The Dimension has more midlane and is stronger arcing.

The Dimension is a very good ball for the oil but it will not give you the big backend of a BWS, more of a strong arc. The Virtual would be closer to the reaction you are seeking. Asymmetric cores give more "pop" on the backend verus symmetric in general terms.
