The city tournament started today here in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and I got to bowl the first shift of the team event today at 1:30 p.m.
Started off the day using my Lane 1 Agent Orange, and threw a turkey. The next two shots somewhat labored down the lane, and left me a split in the 5th, so I switched to my Hy-Road and ran the next 7 for a 245.
2nd game started off slow at 88 in the 5th, ran the sheet for 238.
3rd game I ran the front 10. Absolutely labeled #11 and left a stone 10 pin and I am a lefty. Covered the 10 pin for a 289.
245, 238, 289 - 772. My 2nd highest series of the year, and 3rd 770 + series of the year. (773, 772, 770)
My team is currently sitting in 1st place in the handicap team division, which is a huge bonus.
At +172 going into singles and doubles tomorrow I have a decent shot at taking down the all events title, but it will be really tough considering I only get like 5 pins of handicap per event.
I just wanted to share some more great experiences I am having with my Storm Hy-Road.
I have never matched up too well with Storm products, but this ball is really sweet!
