I was talking in regards to OOB surface I know that surface changes as time goes on, lane shine on dull balls ect.... the point I was making was that no matter how much you try with a spinner or taking it to a PSO you will NEVER get all ball back to OOB because they are finished in the factory on machines that blow an ordinary spinner out of the water. That's the only thing I was saying. I have figured out how I generally like to resurface 1500 grit to get it close to OOB for me and that's 1000, 3000, storm step 2. But nothing is like new ball reaction and carry if you match up with a ball. Some balls no matter what you do surface wise don't work for people. I only have the luxury of bowling 1 time a week and can't practice as I have two kids so I don't really have the ability to tinker like I used to. I find what works and stick with it. I would love to drill up a ton of new equipment (and I do from time to time) but cant really justify it most of the time.
