I have a iq tour pearl amd was looking for something weaker to go to when i am on drier lanes. I was looking at the rotogrip deranged and was wondering how it compared to iqtp. Any suggestions or advice. Ty

The Deranged is roughly equivalent to the IQTP; so I don't think that's your answer.

While the Freakin Frantic, if drilled very weakly might come close, if you wanted to stay with Storm (the Tropical Breeze is too weak), I've found the RG Shout (solid) and the Scream (pearl) to both be good steps down from my IQTP. They have strong coverstocks but very weak cores.

When the lanes get too dry for the IQTP and I want to go 2 - 4 boards deeper, I can switch to either Shout or Scream and stay where I was or even more back a board or two.

Suggestions could be:

Hyroad Pearl (with a flare decreasing layout, but I find this ball naturally 2-4 brds weaker)
Frantic (1-3 weaker than ^)
Shatter (2-4 weaker than ^)
Shout (4-5 weaker than ^)
Scream

I'd advise the new Scream/Shout are stronger overall compared to the older pieces

My Wrecker is more ball than the IQTP. I am sure it has more to do with cover and drilling than anything else.

Lights out for sure. I have both and this combo along with my spare ball will be perfect on any league pattern.
