I think I have decided...
« on: August 07, 2006, 09:26:27 AM »
I think I will get a Tropical Storm Pink/Black and drill it weak to go under my Zone Classic. I know some say it's stronger than advertised but if you drill it weak and put polish on it, will it serve OK for a light oil ball? For burnt I can just use my plastic ball. What do you guys think?

Mine is drilled weak and its great for light or fried lanes. The ball has lots of possible length with the right drilling.

Its been a while since I edited my profile. Some of the ones in the profile are not there anymore and there are some new editions. I will edit my profile later this week.

Ok, just wondering. How about you azus? Do you have a Tropical? Do you have anything helpful to contribute? Thanks.

I first thought about a Tropical, but then i realized that the Hybrid would be more versital for me.

Yeah man, I only have like 250 and even less sometimes. I just need something to go under my Zone Classic, not something to use on burnt lanes. That's what'd I use my plastic ball for.

Should work fine then. The other fellow said it was too much down the outside for him on a House shot. I can make it that way too with a different axis rotation. Otherwise, I can play the ditch all night with it by staying up the back of it. Unless it carries down, that is a whole different story. I consider it a light oil ball not becasue of how much it may hook, I consider it that becasue of the easy length and the energy retention of it.

I have one of these (Blue/Yellow) drilled neutral and I had to polish it with Storm's Xtra Shine to get the reaction I wanted out of it because it was too strong in the OOB finish.   I use this ball when I want to straighter on the lighter/ burned up patterns.
