Marvel vs. Nano

Just wondering what the difference is between the reaction of the two balls. Got away from Storm for a while and wanting to come back and just wondering what the difference is between these two pieces.

Hopefully there will be some posts soon. I've been researching which of the 2 to purchase. Been watching a ton of video reviews and still not quite sure which to grab 1st. More than likely the Marvel will be the first that I get since it seems to be more versatile in different conditions versus the Nano which will require more oil.

The Nano is going to need more oil, the Marvel will be able to be used over a wider variety of shots (although I can get away with using my Nano on some slightly lighter shots it is just way too much ball). On heavy oil the Nano is going to be stronger down lane, the Marvel is a strong ball, but will be smoother than the Nano. In general terms the Nano is a heavy oil ball, the Marvel is a Medium/Heavy oil ball.

From the videos I have seen on youtube and over at video ball reviews the Nano is much more angular in the back...

The Marvel looks very very smooth!

NANO is asym and MARVEL is sym.  NANO is earlier revving and more aggressive at the breakpoint, while MARVEL is smoother.

Been plenty of reviews posted ... take the time to find and read them and you'd have much more detail.

FWIW - I have a VG drilled to go long and flip (5 inch pin above fingers and roughly 60degree MB).  For me, it really is a controllable skid flip reaction on fresh oil.  Taking it down to 2000 abralon made it much more rolly.  I wonder if anyone has any experience taking a Marvel to 4000?  I would guess that it would also become more of a skid/flip reaction.  I would also guess it would provide a good symmetric core alternative to the VG for those prefering a symmetric core if put at the same surface.
