Sure Fire Can't say enough good!
« on: April 01, 2009, 09:16:55 AM »
Resurfaced my Sure Fire last week and brought it back up to 2000 grit Abralon followed by a light coat of Valentino's Snake Oil (oob is 4000 no polish.  Wish I had played with this before.  Ball has very smooth reaction that is great for playing lanes as they are breaking down and my cell or grand illusion are too much.  Last weekend I shot my 3rd game of league Sat night threw 11 strikes (no 300 stuck and tugged the ball in 6th frame for 8 count spare and then struck out for 278) and in tournament on Sunday threw a 266.  For those looking for a go to ball when the lanes are breaking down this ball has been money for me.

Sure Fire Layout
16 lbs.
4 - 4 1/2 pin
3.74 oz top wt.

Ball was drilled at 5 1/2 x 3 1/2. Pin above ring finger.

On the THS the Sure Fire at 2000 abralon is usually my first ball out of the bag. Mine is pin down, "double thumb hole". I agree with you that it is better at 2000 vs 4000 OOB.
