I've had this ball for about 4 months now from a Have A Ball League that I finished mid summer. I have it drilled 5" pin down with a P3 Hole and I haven't touched the surface, except with cleaner. It's developed a little bit of a lane polish. OOB it was rolly and flat. I couldn't throw unless I was dead square against the oil line. After about 40-50 games it has turned into a heavy rolling, big backending, strong hitting house shot killer. With me bowling 3 different leagues on 3 different shots, it always comes down to me having to throw this ball at some point. Some balls have the tendency to have a "break in" period before you start seeing the true reaction of the ball. I remembered some of the original Reactor balls being like that. Namely, the Thunderstrucks, Fired Up, and Diablo.

To anyone else that is thinking about giving up on the ball, I'm just curious how many games have you thrown with it? Has yours appeared to get "stronger" over time?

Mine has never felt like that. I really haven't thrown mine for a couple months either. I've put probably around 80 games, I de-oiled around 50-60. I scored pretty well with it for the first few months I had it but I now I just feel like I get better reactions with other equipment I have. I had good success with polish over the box finish

I Rico'd mine for nationals. Got it cheap at release...some proshop pawned if off on me. Sold it for $70 lol

Bought a nib respect on closeout and I'm even happier!

However that ball Rico'd at the open championships isn't too bad!!!!! Had a great inside look.

Did the same thing with regards to the Respect.  Caught it at the closeout price and  I am pretty happy with it.  Used this as my entry ball into moving down to 14lbs while I struggle with shoulder issues.

I have one. Out of box, I used it on Sunset Strip and it was money! Don't use it much on our THS, as it is on the drier side of medium. I do know though, that as this ball gets a lane shine on it, it will become more skid/flip, with good backend.
