Code Black for the USA market... God Bless Storm!!!
« on: November 15, 2016, 09:59:15 AM »
Storm Code Black
Coverstock: R2s Pearl
Core: RAD4 Core
Finish: 1500 grit polished
Flare: High
Layout: 45 x 5 x 45 – box finish
Test pattern: 44ft THS Kegel Flex with Ice oil and Defense-C cleaner
Test results: Super long and super angular, WOW… The ball went so long, I worried that it would not get time to recover and it did. Longest ball I ever seen go down the lane before reacting, even with having squeaky clean and crisp backends. Took it a center that I have issues in the past of everything hooking earlier and this ball did not let me down. Stronger and more recovery then I ever seen, this ball will be a primary piece for me for all sport patterns of 40ft or more. Very versatile inside and outside of my normal track areas. I am glad that Storm decided to release this in the North America market.

I wonder if he is going to use one ball in each hand "... for all sport patterns of 40ft or more."
At least the name reference actually applies to this one...  ;D

is the ball intended for medium and up?

I sure would like to get this ball, but the houses I bowl at, there's no need for anything more than Medium for me. I'm using Lt-48, breeze, and urethane.... even my XXXL Lane 1 is very usable....

Sounds like it would be too much for what you're on based on what you currently make work, BUT maybe you can get by playing deep first game with it.

Bingo!!!  Doesn't really matter what is said in the review.  Quantity over quality gets him more equipment.

why didn't Storm release any of the Code line here in the USA before?

my opinion so far:
THS killer, very risky on a flat sport pattern
