Question for Luke Rosdahl?
« on: August 23, 2017, 08:48:07 AM »
Somewhere I saw posted the main 6 Balls you used and cant find this now. Was the Daredevil one of these? If not does the Hyroad take the place of this as a Benchmark ball? Thank you

Todd

Code Red
Marvel Pearl
Hyroad
Hyroad Pearl
Hustle Ink
Rotate

Been using mostly the Red and Marvel Pearl, and this lineup does me well enough that there's really no point in putting a 6th ball in just for league.  There's really no point in carrying 5 to begin with, but depending on who we bowl, transition can get stupid, so having those covers all my bases.

Luke,

Thank you for the reply. I am really liking my Marvel Pearl. It was the only ball I used last night. Quick question:

What would be the best choice below for a Benchmark kind of reaction?

Daredevil 65 x 3 3/8 60 Pin in Ring
Hywire 45 x 3 1/4 x35 Pin Up
Hyroad  55 x 3 1/4 x45 (This one seems to go too long before it reads)
Wrecker  55 x 3 1/2 x 40
Unhinged 100 x  2 3/4 x 45 (Pin Beside ring cg in palm, basic 45 degree lable drill)

Would a NoRules Pearl @ 60 x 3 3/8 x60 be too strong for a benchmark reaction?

Thank you

Todd

Given your info there, I wouldn't say a No Rules Pearl would be out of the question.  If a Hyroad drilled like that goes too long for you, then I think the No Rules Pearl with that layout would work just fine as a benchmark.
