I have a Triple X and a Vertigo, but i need a ball for the med light lanes i often sees. I'm thinking about a Hybrid. If i drill the hybrid with about 4½" pin pap, would it work on medium oiled lanes, on outside lines? I'm also thinking about selling my XXX, since my span have gotten to short, and i dont want to redrill it.

Would a Fired Up be a good replacement as a benchmark ball? I'm not wanna buy some high end stuff. And i only need a 3 ball arsenal + spare ball.

XXX/fired up (med)
Hybrid (med-light)
Maxime (unplayable stuff and spares)
