We recently reviewed the Fire Road.
Our testers include a cranker (565 rpm), tweener (360 rpm), and stroker (300 rpm).
You can see the ball on a THS and sport pattern along with Digitrax Analysis compared to the Crossroad, Marvel Pearl, and Frantic.

Storm has released the inverted Fe3 core with the R2X cover that's used on the Marvel Pearl. The cover is stronger than R2S so creates earlier friction than even the hybrid crossroad. This allows it to have a nice predictable motion overall. It's a little less "booming" than the Crossroad or HyRoad on the backends, but plenty strong. It covers very similar amount of boards to the Crossroad, but goes about it slightly differently.
All our testers easily found a very good look on the THS and were really happy with the overall motion. Our cranker had to be very deep but found less push than the Crossroad while getting a bit more controlled motion on the backend.
The Fire Road will also be a bit more usable on THS than the Marvel Pearl as the core is not as early rolling as the Centripetal core. We found it less prone to roll-out as the condition wore down.
Let me know what you think.

Great review once again.

Would it compliment the marvel pearl or the crossroad?

Either really. In terms of strength, from most to least would be: Marvel Pearl, Fire Road, Crossroad.
For folks that have a Marvel Pearl, this is a good stepdown. You'll know how the cover reacts, but you'll see a ball that stores a bit more energy due to the higher RG core which will make it a little more usable as the lanes breakdown.
If you have a Crossroad and need something to read a bit sooner, the Fire Road would be a good step up. You could start with the Fire Road and step down to the Crossroad. Then when you face transition, the Fire Road might offer a bit more control.

Cool. Thank you for the info!

Having in my bag a Marvel Pearl, Victory Road, and Crossroad, ill be skipping the Fire Road. Ill just get the IQ Tour and Trop Heat. I think ill have too much overlap with a Fire Road.

Very accurate descrption, especially with the same layout. For me it's MP-CR-FR only because the MP and CR have stronger layouts than my FR.
