Core Power LRG?
« on: August 10, 2003, 11:29:33 PM »
my pro shop recommended this ball instead of the X-factor reloaded when i said i don't have enough push or lift on the ball.  i normally bowl on medium-oiled lane so is this really the ball for me?  also, it's $30 cheaper.

I own both the Reloaded and the Core Power LRG. I don't have a strong release due to some arthritis in my fingers.  I have had more success carrying with the Core Power.  Note that my Core Power is 15 pounds, and my Reloaded only 14, so this may invalidate the comparison.  Maybe this is due to its light weight because I throw it harder, but it gets into a roll considerably later than the Core Power.  I definitely prefer the Core Power, for what it's worth.

thanks debs,

in my case though, i don't throw it hard enough.  so you think this ball will have an advantage for lefties since the lane doesn't dry up quickly?

DeyMayor, I can't give an informed answer to your question, so I'll leave it to those who possess more knowledge concerning lane conditions for lefties.  I'm sure someone else will be happy to help.
