Title: Crossroad surface question
Post by: Metal_rules on April 18, 2012, 05:57:01 PM
<div>I am getting a Crossroads very soon -- for those of that have one, what surface change (if any) has given you the best look?</div>

It all depends on what you want the ball for....more surface would handle a bit more volume and be a little smoother downlane.  Box finish will store more energy and be more angular.

Little known fact:  In Russian "Hope" and "Change" translate to "Tax" and "Spend"

I decided to leave to cover at oob finish for now, and it seems to roll very well. i have other balls for heavier volume. only a couple of games with it, but i really seem to like the way the ball rolls and hits, smooth nice length with a strong arch - not a violent jump. i will post a review when i get more games on it, but i like what i see so far.

This is FACTUAL .. I see the same results from mine.  Read mids nicely and doesn't JUMP when exiting.  I also use it in OOB

If it's not broke, FIX IT til it is!!!

I took the surface down to 2k - I will see how it reacts and post my results.

I have taken the surface down to 2k  - it does react allot better for me --- starts up sooner and still turns hard in the back end.
