I have always seen the Too Reckless to be somewhat good at moving in and opening the lane up. I am guessing it isn't strong enough for what you are looking for. I agree with others that the Rising Star is a very good ball but can't imagine it being able to open the lane any more than the Too Reckless. I often need a stronger ball to move in left of the dry. A high hook potential pearl would be ideal, unless you have some hand and can rely on the coverstock to create flip on the backends.
In the Storm lineup the Victory Road Pearl can give you a great look moving in, but not sure if it is that much stronger overall than the Too Reckless. It is pearl so it may be able to get through the heads a little better whereas the Too Reckless is a polished solid. The Marvel Pearl reacts more like a hybrid than a true pearl but is stronger than the Victory Road Pearl. The Nano Pearl is very strong, and could be a big jump in overall hook making the gap large between balls.
In the Roto Grip lineup, the Bandit could be a great option. It is stronger than the Rising Star and reacts later with a more defined breakpoint. The Rising Star is a more versatile ball, but if you are looking to truly open the lane up when the shot breaks down, I feel the Bandit would be better. Stronger than that would be the Critical Theory giving you a similar overall hook potential as the Nexus. The Bandit and the Critical Theory have the same cover, only the core in the CT is quite a bit stronger and the cover is sanded. Since the Bandit is a symmetrical, it will be a bit more driller friendly.
These are only my opinions. I have not thrown all of these balls.
Edit:
Just noticed your stats. I used to be in that area. Your speed would have a lot to do with what would be the best. I assume with that rev rate you can play "deep" with some success. I personally would look to something stronger than the Too Reckless, but I am not sure of where you want this ball to fit in your arsenal. As others have mentioned, a weaker ball like a Tropical Breeze could be a great addition to your arsenal also. It would allow you to play out longer, delaying the inevitable move deep inside when the heads go.
