Hi Everyone,
This topic is about Storm Coverstocks. I have recently been using an X-Factor Vertigo (SFA coverstock) and the Paradigm (EOX coverstock), both have been outstanding so far for the month that I've been using them. The X-Factor Vertigo seemed to take a liking to the 800 Grit Gray Scotchbrite pad. I find the Vertigo to be pretty versatile so far.
I have also had success with the Eraser Reactive released in 2000. I believe it utilizes the Accu-Tread coverstock. It has been 6 years since I've had the ball and it still rolls and hits awesome.
I also picked up a Storm Recharge (Monsoon coverstock I believe), and this ball is really smooth. It was a used one I picked up from mrbowlingnut here on the Forum. I might have to get this plugged and redrilled.
Which brings me to this point. I have yet to own a Storm Ball with the infamous Reactor Reactive Coverstock. I've thrown my buddies' Fired Up and I am very impressed by it. Geez, makes me think why I don't have a ball with the Reactor coverstock yet!
Seems like most of the Mid-Priced and High Performance balls Storm is releasing utilize some form of Reactor (Pearl, Solid Resin, etc.)
Looking forward to trying out more Storm products in the future. So Far...So Good!
Thanks!
Ram
