Wonder why Storm is not going to make the Barbed Wire or Fear Factor ? I can understand the X Faxtor and the Power Charge Pearl, but not the others. Good sellers and great balls. I guess it's just the way it goes. Glad I have some  of them, soon they'll be "hot" sellers.

Barbed Wire = Razor Wire at 1500 grit polished. Same core, same coverstock, different finish. They were supposed to discontinue the Barbed Wire shortly after the Razzor Wire came out. (least that's what Storm told me when I asked why there seemed to be little difference between the two of them.)

I undertand there's little difference, but not in looks. I sell to a lot of people and some buy on looks, not just performance. If you look at the two, not the specs, they are different balls. The younger kids can't stand the finish on the RW, but loved the finish and color of the BW.  I would sell more to the younger upcoming bowlers the BW and trying to tell a "kid" they are the same ball is like telling a brick wall to move.

So they are officially killing the X-Factor and Power Charge Pearl?  Where did you hear that from?

Why would they kill the X-Factor...such a good ball and we sold a ton of them.

My supplier. I tried to gett a 14# BW for a kid and it's been on back order. Was told yesterday that Storm is no longer going to make them. All I know. The BW is a good ball, but for me, I like the RW better. Personal preferance, I guess. I'm sure there are some still out there, and maybe other suppliers still have some, but mine said that's it. No more. Probably the X Factor is being replaced by Triple X or maybe there's another coming out we just don't know about yet. Who knows ?

The X-Factor is too close to the XXX and the Recharge, in my opinion.  Recharge has more length and snap, but the reaction shape is the same, but the X is still one of the best balls to hit the market in a while.  The Barbed Wire, as the case with most of Storm's low end stuff, is just too over/under.  The Fear Factor was just a piece of crap, so I'm surprised it hasn't disappeared before now.
