I have both it really depends on the reation you are looking for on that condition. They are both med heavy balls and both in thier out of box condition they can handle good amout of oil where the pyro will skid farther it definately makes up in the back end. And this pyro has the strongest backend move i have ever seen this year it is sick. It is my favorite ball right now when there is enough oil to throw it. The diablo can cover but it has a much earlier move than the pyro due to its surface. It is much more of a hard arc as apposed to a hard skid flip from the pyro. But they are both great balls for heavier volumes of oil.
