STORM "EL-NINO LEVEL 1"
« on: October 30, 2005, 01:28:57 AM »
Any Info? I drilled one of these, 4½ x 5, it is pearlized, red and purple. The RG is 2.46, and differential .050.  I was told that this ball has the DEPTH CHARGE weightblock and the X-FACTOR resin cover. Can anyone confirm this? Shot a 300 with the ball last week. Thanks!

Funny...I was told it was a Depth Charge core with the Fired Up coverstock.  After throwing mine for about a week I would tend to think that this ball has a weeker coverstock than the Fired Up.

Nice ball, but mine seems to back off a tad on the backends unless they are clean.

No idea but looks like the "true roll "design core in the dept charge. www.123bowl.com/ball.asp?ballid=2601 not sure if this is really useful but it is a visual of the core..

xwenhan...the core isn't in question, just the coverstock.

It's a pretty good mild ball, which I drilled mildly, so I am thinking that it is actually the original X-Factor cover... I like the way the ball rolls as well. We will hopefully soon find out what exactly this ball is. lol
