I have a storm gravity shift with pin high right and throw with a slower speed 12-15 area and throw this ball with almost no revs and here in lies the problem. I also have a green vibe drilled pin high between fingers and a pap of 4out 11/16 up medium track and seem to get 10 times the rotation out of this ball. The proshop (not as good one which I now know) who drilled the gravity up says it works as it is suppose to. However I went to the good local proshop and he said the pap was only 2 something and I get only 3 to 4 flare marks and they have a decent spread to them. But what I really dont understand is the side and topweights on both are identical yet the vibe actually outhooks it. So my question is what can I do to make the gravity useful as it just isnt getting it for me and the stupid proshop will not replace it even aften they misdrilled it horribly and had to move my ring down shorten span almost a half inch(put biggest slug in to get it) and many other things.

Your game is better served by symetric cores(Vibe) verus asymetric(gravity). As far as your Gravity goes, the correct PAP is critical as SVstar34 stated so you need to find a different driller to set the ball up correct.

Bad drilling is not a warranty issue so that only a professionally customer service run shop will give you your money back or drill up a new ball and this guy does not sound like thats what your dealing with. Sounds like you are just going to have to replug the ball and have it drilled by someone who knows what they are doing.

Warrany covers defects in the ball and not bad drilling. Thats up to the pro shop operator and whether they have integrity or not. Sounds like yours doesn't.

I generally bowl on heavy oil. I ask as that maybe my only option to getting it fixed is for it to have a "defect".
