Do you bowl in tournaments where you would see enough oil to use a strongly drilled Dimension with surface? If so, probably not a bad idea to keep that on hand. Otherwise, why carry it around if you never use it?
Don't be afraid to play with surfaces before drilling a new ball. If you don't like the way it rolls after smoothing it out and/or polishing it, you can always change it and try something else. However, that is a pretty strong coverstock and does need a good bit of oil to get down the lane, so I imagine you'll be better off using a different ball. I don't know anything about your style, your arsenal, or what conditions you're facing, but even the Prodigy might be too much ball. Can you give us any more info like your PAP, rev rate, axis rotation and tilt, etc.?
