disapearing logos

Has anyone else had the logos on the Passion begin to disappear after a few sandings? Never had this problem with any other Storm ball so I don't think its my sanding method.Usually sand about every 30 games. ( I use a spinner with either wet paper or wet 500 abralon on 6 sides for about 20-30 seconds). Thanks.

It seems to be more "chalk-based" then the others(not sure of the others content), but I noticed it on mine after using the dishwasher method of cleaning.  Pretty much all of the coloring came out, but all I did was fill it in with some flourescent crayons and Viola! Good as new!

Pat, it's not that the letter filler comes out, it's that the lettering flat out disappears.  They engrave the logos so shallow that a good resurface will knock them all out.  Really frustrating for a pro shop guy to have to explain why the letters are now gone after a resurface or two . .  Brunswick's logos are the best.  They go DEEP.  It'll be too small to fit in the drill press before the logos disappear.  And it's ALL Storm balls, not just the Passion.

Yeah I've noticed that on EVERY piece of storm equipment i have ever owned.  Cleaning them after every set will have this symptom too.

Hehe, at least Storm's logos look good.  Some of these ones that are so DEEP are really ugly.

Ive thrown hundreds on a couple of my older ones and they still have theirs.  Maybe it is the polish getting in the logos or something.
