Super Charge
« on: March 20, 2005, 07:25:22 AM »
I am not usually a storm thrower. I throw only brunswick, and storms super charge. The only reason why its in my bag is because I love the versatility of it. I don't know anything about storm, so can someone please recommend a ball that reacts the same as this one IN THE STORM LINE. Thanks.

why would I ask for a comparison to the WMB in the storm forum? I mean the super charge.

The Super Charge is still in the catalog and it is my favorite Storm ball.  Why would you look to replace it?

The Atomic Charge was originally supposed to replace the Super Charge but I don't think the core is as strong as the Super Charge.  Other than that there really is nothing that is comparable.

I dont want to replace it - mine is new and in great shape. I just want something similar in my bag.

I'm confused also. If you have one in your bag, why do you want something else that is comparable?
To drill it differently?
or
do you want a ball with the same core and a different cover?
or
do you want a ball with the same cover and a different core?

Jim,

I own a Power Charge Pearl (just taken off of the active ball list) that I use as my companion ball to the Super Charge.  It has a very similar core but the Pearl Curylon (SP?) cover lets it get through the heads cleaner and longer than the Super Charge.  I use it as a game three ball when the lanes break down and the Super Charge is a little bit too much ball.

I hope that helps.

I said - the only brand other than brunswick in my bag is the super charge and the WMB. I then asked for a comparison to the super charge. I was just saying that I dont throw many brands only brunswick, and and two other balls (WMB, supercharge). The reason why I want something similar is so if I am stuck with the super charge, and it is the only ball I can use, than the ball similar to it will also be an option. I want to have something similar so I have a choice. It's not that hard to understand.

I have been throwing a Super C for about a month now. I picked up 2 of them and the orignal Hot Rod from my buddy.

Just like you i love its reaction. I have it poilished up for med+ a little but ir just revs up and then rolls.
