Accutread or stripper problem....
« on: April 10, 2013, 09:18:50 PM »
Last night the lefties tore it up/  I broke out a non fitting Hot Wire and it's Accutread coverstock, and had area for once for a lower flare ball, but also real smoothness!

I thought it was the Accutread smooth reading but powerful coverstck but the righties said....oh There is a stripper problem and you will have to persevere thru it!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Last night the lefties had it going on the local house shot.
The righties in general were really struggling.

My usually jumpy shot on the left appeared to be much less wet dry than usually.  Is it the stripper problem or did this stacked drilling on the left side coupled with this accutread coverstock really smooth this shot out?

Regards,

Luckylefty

Without being there, I would guess it is the accutread cover. In one of the places I bowl, I usually start out using a Trauma ER (accutread) for the first game to calm the reaction; and ball up to a Hy-Road once some hold area is created.

I have always considered accutread one of the better coverstocks Storm ever produced. It is, however, an oil soaker and requires frequent maintenance.

Jesse,

Great comment!

DJones,

I AM excited about the smoothness of this accutread solid....It is like the over under disappeared!

Sweet!  I loved my X factor Deuce, this is even more controllable!

My vote is it was the absence of squeaky clean backends and a poorly defined wall due to a improperly adjusted/worn squeegee or poorly mixed lane cleaner.
