I have some questions for you,
I see that your PAP is in the 3's...so are you a low track player? I ask, because I am more on the low track side and working on raising it.
The Sync was drilled 5x4x3 which what a knowledgable friend I discuss this last Saturday.
Do you find a drilling like this to roll out to early, or does your speed not allow it? I am a bit worried about roll out with this drilling or just taking the surface down as my speed is less than yours.
Tell us about some of your other layouts on the rest go your line up..is the 5x4x3 Sync a new layout for you?
Thanks for the Video and looking forward to your thoughts
Ok so I havent had a "home" pro shop for awhile so the #'s I have are from the guy who punched up my sync...I feel my game has changed a bit over the years because i was suprised to be only 3 over as well. From I what I know and see im not that low, but more of a medium track. he did take measurements off of one ball and looked puzzled lol, so he could be off, but I had asked him to write everything down...as i was doing a review...so thats what he gave me...I may have to investigate it. I go through so much equipment, I usually have them match balls and layouts that have worked in the past...and I dont really ask questions as much as I should...(I know it makes me sound like i have no clue what im talking about, but im being honest) and thinking about it it makes my pap not really match up with the layout...Ill have to look into it.
In terms of the layout...for me its a standard pin above the bridge layout...I actually punched up my 1st of 3 invasions very similar...my nano and my vivid were very tame on the backend...so this time I wanted a bit more energy at the breakpoint. With my ball speed, anything hooks...im only 15 mph on a good day...I play in the puddle so it doesnt roll out...and with my roll (which is not the greatest) I will notice it roll out...sometimes quite a bit. believe it or not I exclusively use solid on synthetics, pearl on wood due to my speed just to control the backend becuase usually everything over hooks (this is on THS)
I usually go with 4x4x2 layouts but I knew the sync was going to be a monster....its more continuous than the vivid, yet les rolly so I wanted to make sure I could make this puppy move on the backend..
In my review for storm...I said it feels like its a "frankenstein hybrid" of everything I liked from their previous solid releases...which is pretty much on par with what everyone is saying. its a neat reaction...out of everything in the video,I had to stand deepest with the sync, and only the lucid had a touch more backend...the sync was a controlled flip...which for my speed...is exactly what I need...
