I'm willing to bet anything he has a funky PAP that puts his pin and MB in such strong of a position that it's flaring up at 10 feet and not giving him any motion in the last 35 feet.
I've seen it happen a countless number of times when a driller just puts anyone in a "generic looking" go long and snap drill on these strong assymetricals without knowing their real PAP. For all we know this guy's PAP could be something like 3" right and 2" up which puts the pin about 2" from the PAP and the MB near his VAL.
Have the ball fully plugged, and your PAP remeasured. Then have the ball layed out properly. If this indeed was the driller's fault, he should do it for you at a huge discount, if not for free.
