Purchasing a Domination
« on: January 04, 2007, 07:10:58 PM »
I really want to buy a Domination because of the rave reviews, I've heard about it. Im really into skid flip balls eversince I threw an Ultimate Inferno on synthetic lanes. Im not sure if thats a skid flip type ball but the day I threw it, it rolled like one. My question is this....Will the domination be a good ball for wooden lanes? My biggest money league is on wood and there's always a heavy oil shot, so I really want to make sure this ball can handle heavy oil on wood. Thanks!

There  are allot of better choices for a "Heavy Oil Ball"

The Double Agent or Special Agent would be a whole lot better for the "Heavy" Oil.
Filling out your profile would be even better so we know more about your bowling style, PAP, speed, Rev rate, etc.  .

Im a medium speed bowler around 12-13 mph, with about average rev rate. Im more of a stroker. I like to play a smooth shot. I pride my self on fundamentals. Only been bowling a year and my form is much better then the guys who taught me how to bowl but that comes from just being an athlete, I played football in college. My boy has the Special Agent but I know I want something different just to be different. I hate Ebonite now, because they are like sponges to me, they just suck up oil and stop hooking very quickly. I love Storm!

Your speed is on the slow side.
click on link to go to Storm page to see what they recommend for you.

Thats helpful! Im in love with the domination so I may be looking to get 2 balls, 1 for heavy and 1 for medium. I only roll on heavy during league because practice shots are usually dry as a parking lot!

I'll research the double agent more! Does it break late or early. I usually like balls that go longer like my Big One, although The One came up early it was still effective before it died on me! Man I hate Ebonite!
